California SNO-PARKS
There are 19 snow parks in California, all of which are managed by the Department of Parks and Recreation.
All of these snow parks have parking and sanitation facilities and offer various activities such as skiing, snowboarding, riding a snow mobile, and the like.
Interested parties have to purchase a permit before they can park their vehicles in the designated areas. These permits can either be day permits or overnight permits.
As opposed to commercial snow parks, the California SNO-PARKS do not have commercialized accommodations and other facilities
. Entrance to the snow parks are on a first come first served basis.
